'tis the season

Spooky season is fully upon us now that we are in October. We are lacking in our Halloween decorations here at the Winter Homestead, but we did manage to hang two ghosts from a tree yesterday and put a leaner by the front door. Man, killing it over here! I've been thinking about what I love about this season and to me I love that it gets cozier. The temperatures start to fall, the sweaters and blankets become necessary, the drinks get hotter. Everything about fall and October is just cozy and I'm here for it.
